Graduation Requirements

The following are the requirements to graduate:

• Complete an Application for Degree Card, and return it to the Program Secretary. Deadlines are posted on the Virginia Tech bulletin boards.
• Request a copy of your Plan of Study, and Grade History from the Program Secretary. Make sure your Plan of Study reflects grades for all courses you have taken. If there are any grades that are not reflected in the Plan of Study, complete a Change in Plan of Study Form.
• If you transferred courses to Virginia Tech, make sure there is an official copy of your transcripts from the university the courses were transferred from, in your file. Transfer grades should be included in your Plan of Study.
• You must be registered for a course during your semester of completion of degree requirements.
