My MBA at Virginia Tech was a life changing “entry ticket” into the business world in Germany.
It has provided the necessary tools, methods and analytical mindset that allowed me to excel across different industries such as strategic planning in steel, PR & advertising, automotive marketing & sales, ebizz and business development.
Have You Received A Promotion Since Graduating?
My hierarchical “entry point” into industry was in the top ten percentile of other graduates. In particular the first 10 years have been the career climbing years.
What Did You Enjoy About Your Studies at Virginia Tech?
Other than becoming more embedded and versatile in business tool applications, I personally most enjoyed and benefitted from the creative applications of those tools. No matter whether you are in advertising or strategic planning, the quest to satisfy the end customer’s needs and providing value is the basis for making good business decisions.
How Do You Use Your Skills And Knowledge To Give Back To The Community?
I am an active church member, University lecturer for International Entrepreneurship and mentor for an eleven year old boy.
